About

I’m a User Experience Design leader with keen interests in crafting digital products. I enjoy the collaborative design process and working closely with others to bring projects to life. I’m both a thinker and a maker — defining approach and strategy and leading the design to final release, working with multidisciplinary teams along the way. I have a wide variety of experience with projects for business, consumer and non-profit applications.

I have successfully completed a wide spectrum of interactive projects ranging from consumer banking to non-profit teacher training courseware. I’m a design generalist and combine my background in graphic design with experience design to create a complete user experience. I’m at my best when working as part of a collaborative team. I shine when working on projects for social good.

I was driven to digital design by my desire to create things people find useful. I judge typefaces by the quality of the lower-case “g” (<–did you notice that lovely character?) and collect stylish ampersands. I have a penchant for using antique film cameras because, like a low-budget project, the lack of dials and knobs helps me to focus on what matters most (and well, old cameras are just cool). Favorite design tools are my treasured Copic markers and gridded sketchbook.
