About me
I’m a Design leader with keen interests in crafting digital products. I enjoy the collaborative design process and working with others to bring visions to life. I’m a thinker, maker, and leader — defining strategy and leading design teams and product releases. I have a wide variety of experiences working for startups, design studios, FinTech, EdTech and non-profits. I was driven to product design by my desire to create useful things that improve people’s lives.
I also like to share my experiences and develop the next generation of designers through writing articles, mentoring, facilitating career panels, hiring and developing interns, and teaching workshops.
Outside work, I nerd out with vintage film cameras, metalsmithing hand-fabricated jewelry designs, and sculpting functional ceramics. My favorite letterform is the lowercase “g” and sometimes I also do hand lettering and print making. I can often be found in my happy places — beach coming or hitting my neighborhood hiking trails.
